We had the chance to interview MagaLoop Product Manager, Tobias Becker, to learn more about MagaLoop and how they use HyperTrack within their tech stack.

Alright. So I just want to start off with a little intro. So say who you are the name, your position and the name of your company.
Tobias
So hi, I'm Toby from MagaLoop. And I'm responsible for the product management of our software application.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. Can you explain to me what your company does and one short sentence?
Tobias
Yeah, MagaLoop tries to reinvent basically the supply chain and how our mom shop and small corner shop in Germany can get its supplies.
Leigh Ann
Perfect. Excellent. So let's, this next part of the interview is really going to focus on before you found HyperTrack and what the problems you were going through were. So what kinds of problems or issues were you facing before you started to work with HyperTrack?
Tobias
Yeah, we are facing the issue that we have basically a platform built where someone can order goods. But basically, there is no way how we can show actually if goods are delivered, or if they are processed in a way. So that's why we were looking for a solution for this problem.
Leigh Ann
Perfect, that was perfect. I love that issue affect your company's performance or your KPIs.
Tobias
It affected us in a way that we had a bad user experience. And this was obviously something we need to solve for more transparency during the ordering process.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. How did it make your feet you feel? And how was it affecting your team?
Tobias
Yeah, we knew it was an important thing to solve. Because every other logistic company has some sort of track and trace in place. So we knew we had to deliver this feature or edit to our existing platform.
Leigh Ann
Perfect. Was there a breaking point? Was there a moment that you said, Okay, we this isn't working, we've got it, we've got to do something differently.
Tobias
We decided to basically implement this feature in our very early state of our product, just to be basically a one step ahead. And really give the best user experience possible for our user base.
Leigh Ann
All right, so getting to the good stuff. Now, tell us about finding HyperTrack what was that like?
Tobias
MagaLoop and HyperTrack connected in a very early product development state. And so we knew immediately that it is a good fit to basically develop both products in sync and then improve both ends in parallel.
Leigh Ann
Fantastic. What do you feel sets HyperTrack apart?
Tobias
HyperTrack is super quick to implement. So there was really short development time on our end to basically hook up the API's and web hooks. And yeah, then start to use it.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. In your own words, how would you describe what HyperTrack does?
Tobias
So HyperTrack does trip optimization or route optimization, so you basically just put in various orders or locations, you click one time And then you get the perfect link between all these places to, to then route this strip to to a driver, who then can Yeah, go through with the owners.
Leigh Ann
Perfect. Can you talk to me a bit about how your team is using HyperTrack.
Tobias
So we are using HyperTrack in a way that we implemented for all of our supply users. So they can basically reach out to us we will implement the technology stack, or we will unlock the technologies, the technology stack for them in our application. And then they can use it via their own devices. And basically, yeah, immediately start to take orders, which is not typical in their field of business.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. What do you like best about HyperTrack?
Tobias
I like best about HyperTrack that it's convenient. It's super fast to implement. And it just works, in the end relatively easy.
Leigh Ann
Is there anything that isn't working for you about HyperTrack that you'd like to see improved?
Tobias
What needs to be improved about HyperTrack are basically user interface and some workflow issues, which usually just gets discovered during the test phases?
Leigh Ann
Alright. So how do you and your team feel now that you've implemented HyperTrack?
Tobias
We feel great about HyperTrack, because it just gives us the opportunity to be more transparent about placed orders to our users. And it just basically gives us state of the art technology for track and trace.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. What results have you seen?
Tobias
So after the implementation of HyperTrack, we reached out to several users ask them about the experience. And the response was basically positive throughout. So they value the strike and dress functionality and the fact that they know when they orders will arrive.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. What problems are you solving? Or what benefits? Have you realized from from using HyperTrack?
Tobias
Yeah, biggest benefit for HyperTrack is that we have audit transparency for our users. And yeah, we are able to tell them when an order will arrive via live tracking, even if you want to.
Leigh Ann
Excellent. What features are you benefiting the most from and why.
Tobias
So the feature we benefit from is basically that we can provide our suppliers, who act on a very analog business field with state of the art technology, even like the Route Optimization, or the track and trace functionality.
Leigh Ann
Do you feel that your original problem is solved or is on the way too being solved from using HyperTrack,
Tobias
With HyperTrack our original problem is definitely being solved. And it was, like I said, easy to implement, and it was a better option than to develop something like this on our own.
Leigh Ann
And last question here, would you recommend HyperTrack? And if so why?
Tobias
I would absolutely recommend HyperTrack. Super fast to implement. It gives you state of the art technology and the room to grow together with HyperTrack.
Leigh Ann
Fantastic Is there anything else that you think we haven't covered or you that you'd like to add?
Tobias
Quick so it was super fun to test HyperTrack. Because basically, I was for one whole week in an actual warehouse and trying to get the app running and [all of] our systems working together. So yeah, this was a fun experience. Yes, for sure. And yeah, even the reaction of the drivers trying out the app or track and tracing their colleagues why they were back in the warehouse was a fun experience.
