MagaLoop provides an app-based ordering platform which connects independent retailers such as convenience stores, bakeries, gas station stores and late-night grocery stores directly with suppliers. The app allows customers to order everything from chewing gums to drinks through one tap.

The Business Need
Magaloop started as a promotion only platform. By promoting wholesale deals to local retailers, their technology platform became a resource for those mom and pop shop owners to find products that met the demand of their customer base. In the quest to present more value to these retailers, Magaloop wanted to not only promote the products but allow retailers to order the products and monitor the ordering experience from end to end. This meant that wholesalers and retailers using the Magaloop platform would need to digitize quickly. By doing so, the quality of order fulfillment would increase and all parties would have visibility into
the entire order process. Without such visibility, Magaloop users would not have confidence in the arrival of products and leave the platform. In order for Magaloop to provide this visibility, they needed to build a last mile solution that could be quickly adopted by wholesalers within the system to avoid churn.
This solution would need to be able to not only track deliveries, but also assign deliveries to available drivers. This solution would address the quality of the order fulfilled by finding suitable delivery drivers expediently and presenting this data in real time via mobile apps and dashboards visible to operations teams.
To achieve the desired end state, Magaloop decided to rebuild the entire order fulfillment process. They knew the importance of improving the fulfillment experience but did not have the internal capacity to scale systems as quickly as their market was growing. They would need to find a partner to help them scale, which led them to seek out a plug-and-play solution.
This led them to find technology partners that focused on logistics technology, a search that introduced Magaloop to HyperTrack APIs for last mile logistics. They decided to work with HyperTrack to fast-track development while focusing on their core value as an e-commerce platform.

By having the ability to document order performance in real time, operations teams are able to closely measure the progress of orders and deliver this information to retailers and customers. By providing per trip data, managers benefit from historical data that can improve their operations at scale and build on granular insights. The powerful combination of real time information and aggregate data allows tech teams to improve the assignment of orders and delivery routes while giving operations teams the necessary data to make informed decisions.
Geofences to automate detection of arrival to customer sites
Since teams have the per order data from delivery partners, HyperTrack allows streams of this data to be presented to dashboards within their operations control tower via webhooks. This data gives teams real time insights and the ability to easily address issues with service providers and report on the state of equipment in the field. By receiving this data through webhook streams, customers can be flexible as to how this data is consumed and presented, giving tech teams more control over how they use location data within their environment.
