The Business Need
When Zeloce started five years ago, tracking was not something their customers were familiar with or expected. However, the past few years have introduced customers to more convenience and visibility in the apps they use in their personal life, which has changed expectations within the Zeloce ecosystem. It became clear that providing deep visibility to customers throughout the fulfillment lifecycle is no longer a nice to have, so it became critical to implement this technology. By delivering this technology, Zeloce would be able to give its customers the same experience as working with a large retailer or e-commerce player.
The technology team considered building a solution from scratch – with the aim to use the live location from driver mobile phones. After a short period of time, the team realized that the path to developing this functionality in a reliable consistent manner would be a distraction. It was at this point that the team began to look for a partner to accelerate their roadmap and build location technology within their tech stack. Many of the solutions they encountered could not integrate with Zeloce infrastructure in a customized manner. Instead of seeking full-featured applications, they preferred an API that would not complicate the workflows for their customers.
Upon finding HyperTrack and connecting with the solutioning team, the tech team at Zeloce decided to leverage tracking as an API and integrate within their platform.
The Solution
The team implemented the following solutions to provide tracking through their product and enhance the visibility of the fulfillment lifecycle to their customers.
Driver SDK to accurately track the location of the driver during shifts
By having the ability to document travel in real time, operations teams are able to capture the location of drivers and share this with customers. By giving customers key information about the location of the driver, operations teams can easily find and resolve errors and answer questions about delays and ETAs.
Orders API to plan trips for service providers between customer sites
By using HyperTrack’s Orders API, the team was able to quickly build functionality to plan and assign scheduled and on-demand orders to drivers and provide them with the best routes based on the requirements of the business.
Dashboard visualizations to display work happening in real time
Since the operations teams have the location data throughout the fulfillment process, HyperTrack allows streams of this data to be presented on dashboards. By receiving this data through webhook streams, Zeloce is able to embed these realtime views within customer systems.

The Result
Working with HyperTrack allowed the tech team at Zeloce to focus on serving their customers without spending time building expertise in location intelligence. Tracking orders with granularity was a difficult task and proved to be a distraction for a lean technology team. By leveraging HyperTrack’s expertise and infrastructure, Zeloce was able to quickly automate the detailed tracking of events in the fulfillment process. Tracking orders from assignment to completion, tracking driver routes, and providing consumable data gives Zeloce customers invaluable context to their operations.
